Make sure you’re as outgoing as possible! Smile. Bring a portfolio if it’s required. Be prepared to answer any questions relating to your possible past design/art experiences. I’m not quite sure how the interview is going to be done by the interviewer so that’s all I can really offer in terms of advice at this point. Good luck!

Minimalist design is not something typically taught in school because the design is unorthadox. At the same time however, minimalist designers make a fortune off each project.

Is this message directed to me or to the person who asked me the question before you? I never really stated anything specifically on Minimalist Design. I also just stated that I’m currently doing my Diploma for Interior Design.

Both Commercial and Residential are thoroughly taught at the school that I’m going to. We focus a lot on conceptual design as well. Minimalist design is more of one’s own style and preference. Style is not something that is specifically taught in school because it is something that you are supposed to develop on your own.

Nope, I’m still doing my Diploma right now. Not sure if I’m gonna go for my Degree. I didn’t have to take calculus, but I did have to take sketching courses that included focusing on shapes and how to properly shade them according to shadow.
